Emoluments: Initial appointment will be as a Trainee Education Officer for six months with a remuneration of Rs.12,000/- each month. After the satisfactory performance, the candidate will be appointed as Education Officer at Rs. 20,000/- monthly CTS.
Qualifications: Masters in Life Sciences/ Zoology/ Botany/ or similar qualification. Outstanding communication and writing skills are essential. Fluent knowledge of Marathi
, English, as well as Hindi, is a must.Desirables: Excellent knowledge of the natural history as well as local flora and fauna of the region. Good knowledge of the use of the internet as well as organising webinars. Experience in a similar position is desirable. Good physical health is essential. Preference to candidates from nearby areas.
Job profile:
- Design and conduct nature education activities, the formation of nature clubs, lead trails as well as nature camps for students as well as corporates.
- Make presentations on flora as well as fauna, environment-related issues to various.
audiences for school students in addition to corporates. - Aid in plantation activities and also develop a butterfly garden.
- Manage online courses as well as field visits as well as camps associated with it.
- Develop nature education resources.
