PROJECTS

The Wildlife Institute of India (WII) is a premier autonomous Institute under the Ministry of
Environment, Forest & Climate Change, and Government of India, in the field of wildlife
research, teaching and also training. The Institute plans to engage project personnel (Indian national only) in various projects on a purely contractual basis, initially for a 1-year duration from the date of engagement that can be extended depending upon the candidate’s performance and the programme needs.

The selection of the candidates will certainly be in accordance with the performance in the interview and in order of merit as decided by the Interview Committee. Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline of biological science with aggregate 60% marks.

Desirable Qualification: Master’s degree in any discipline of biological sciences.

Work Description: The candidate will assist in fieldwork in Uttar Pradesh, organize
meeting and workshops and report writing.

Essential Qualification: (1) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline of biological science with aggregate 60% marks. (2) Bachelor’s degree in Humanities / Social work / Social science or related subject with aggregate 60% marks.

Desirable Qualification: (1) Master’s degree in any discipline of biological sciences (2) Master’s degree in Humanities/ Social work/ Social Science. Knowledge of computer in MS Office, Internet and email.

Work Description: The candidate will assist in fieldwork in Manipur and report writing.
