How to Apply:
The Fellowship amount for the above position goes to par with similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The above positions are completely on a temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment will be for a period of six months which can be curtailed or extended based upon the performance of the candidate and also discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to choose
the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications as well as experience of the candidate. Reservation of posts will be as per Govt. of India norms. The position might be ended whenever by giving a month notification by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any kind of regular position of NIPGR.Eligible candidates may apply by sending a soft copy through e-mail in the given format with a cover letter showing interest along with self- attested soft copies of the mark-sheets, certificates, (from Class X onwards) and proof of research experience/publications. A single pdf file, consisting of application from cover letter, and all documents, must be sent to [email protected] within 15 days from the date of advertisement. The candidates must ascertain their eligibility before applying, as ineligible candidates will not be interviewed.

Essential Qualification:
- For Post Doctoral Research Associate (PDRA): Applicants having a PhD. Degree in Life Sciences with a good academic record (55% marks) or a related field is eligible to apply. The candidates having prior experience in the area of high throughput data analysis, bioinformatics or molecular analysis of plant genes. Preference will be given to the candidates with experience in photosynthesis, algal biology or phytochemistry.
- For Post Graduate Research Fellow (PGRF), Candidates with Master’s or equivalent interdisciplinary Degre in Environment/Ecology/Life Sciences/ Bioinformatics or any other related field with two years of pertinent research experience are eligible to apply. Preference will certainly be given to candidates with fieldwork experience in physiological ecology. Applicants with Machine Learning and also shell scripting experience are likewise encouraged to apply.
Consolidated Emoluments:
- Post Doctoral Research Associate (PDRA): Rs. 60000/- per month.
- Post Graduate Research Fellow (PGRF): Rs. 60000/- per month.
