Biotechnology Institute located at Knowledge city, Sector-81, Mohali- 140306,
Punjab on 03.02.2021 at 09:00 AM along-with the duly filled application form available on the website www.nabi.res.in. - Incomplete application form and also applications that are not in proper format might be summarily rejected.
- The applications should be submitted strictly according to the prescribed format that can be downloaded from the NABI web site.
- Applicants making an application for more than one position can give their preference in the same application by ticking multiple positions. No need to submit a separate application for every position.

Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in professional
course chosen with a process described with any one of the following:
- The selection procedure through National Level exams conducted by the central government
departments and also their agencies and also institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. - Scholars that have their very own fellowship from financing agencies like CSIR, UGC and also DBT etc.
Responsibilities:
JRF will certainly work on the development of rice transgenics plant and explore the transcriptional regulation/gene regulatory network associated with grain quality and (a) biotic stress responses in rice.
Emoluments: As per fellowship granting agency.
For Post II
Essential Qualifications for NABI Job:
M.Sc in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or B. Tech in Biochemistry/Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks.
Desirable Experience: Research experience in plant molecular biology & plant tissue culture.
Emoluments: Rs.12000/- per month plus HRA as applicable in Mohali.
For Post III
Essential Qualifications for NABI Job:
Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in professional
course chosen with a process described with any one of the following:
- The selection procedure through National Level exams conducted by the central government departments and also their agencies and also institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
- Scholars that have their very own fellowship from financing agencies like CSIR, UGC and also DBT etc.
Responsibilities: Addressing basic plant biology questions pertinent to Fe homeostasis in plants. The applicant with a strong interest in bioinformatics: transcriptome data analysis and gene function validation are highly encouraged. The chosen applicant will be encouraged for the PhD program.

Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in the professional course chosen with a process described with any one of the following:
- Scholars are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desired Experience: Experience in plant or agricultural biotechnology, plant tissue culture, genome editing, genomics/bioinformatics.
Responsibilities: Planning as well as executing the project in a time frame manner.
Emoluments: Rs.31000/- per month plus HRA for 1st & 2nd Year and also from 3rd Year onwards Rs 35,000 per month plus HRA.

Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in the professional course chosen with a process described with any one of the following:
- Scholars are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desired Experience: Experience with the expression of the protein in a heterologous system and purification of protein as well as carbohydrates.
