Name of the Project: “MOLECULAR EPIDEMIOLOGY OF HEPATITIS B & C AMONG
INTRA VENOUS DRUG USERS (IVDUs) IN NORTHEAST AND NORTHWEST REGION OF INDIA”

Name of the PI: Dr Mini P Singh

Upper age limitation: 28 years (Age relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/ PH/Women candidate as per rules) as on 02-12-2020.

Duration: I year (extendable up to for one year).

Tenure: The engagement in the project is totally on a contract basis.

Application Procedure for PGIMER Vacancy:

• Interested candidates fulfilling the above conditions are required to submit their complete bio-data duly signed as well as enclosing therewith photocopies of certificates/ testimonials in support of date of birth, qualification/ experience etc. & affixed with the latest photo on the application and submit by 02/12/2020 at 3:00 pm in Room no 608, 6th floor, Research Block-A PGIMER. No interview letters will certainly be sent. No TA/DA will be paid.
• The selection committee reserves the right to shortlist the applicants on the basis of a screening test in case more number of candidates appears for the post.

Note:

1. It is the applicant’s duty to ensure that the applications are sent timely and also the
   department will certainly not be responsible for any postal delays. Application obtained after the due date will be summarily rejected.
2. Interested applicants may send their application as per the prescribed format given below Applications obtained without the prescribed format and will certainly be summarily rejected.
   a) Proof of Age (self-attested).
   b) Degree Certification (self-attested).
3. If any kind of information sent by an applicant is found to be false at any kind of stage, his/her candidature will certainly be summarily rejected with no notice and also stringent action will certainly be taken as per institute rule.
4. The candidate must bring all original supporting documents on the date of exam/interview. In case the candidate fails to bring these documents, he/she will certainly not be allowed to appear for the test.
5. The walk-in-interview will certainly be held on 4th December 2020 at 2: 30 PM. The applicants need to report in Room No. 608, Department of Virology, Research Block-A for the interview.

Remuneration:

• Rs.31000/- + HRA (NET Qualified).
• Rs. 12000/- +HRA (Non-Net Qualified).

Essential Qualification: Masters in Life sciences as a part of a regular course. The candidate should have had 60% aggregate marks in graduation & post-graduation course. The candidate ought to be willing to stay and work in North East India since this is a collaborative project.

Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates with CSIR UGC NET, GATE, DBT BET, ICMR JRF qualification. The candidate must be able to draw venous blood samples from patients.
