Name of the Post: Project Scientist – I (Non-Medical)
Number of positions: One
Name of the Project: “ICMR-Young Diabetes Registry (YDR) & YDR Cohort-Phase-III”
Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years
Duration: The position is to be filled up on purely short-term basis for the duration of one year or till completion of the project. The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any kind of reason. Since the position is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will certainly have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or continuation of his/ her services in any other project. No benefits of provident fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim are admissible.

The interactions with shortlisted applicants will certainly be held in the last week of November 2020 based on the schedule mentioned against the applicant’s name. It can be noted that in view of COVID-19 situation, the interview with the applicant will certainly be on-line. The link will certainly be sent to the e-mail and mobile of the applicant.Salary: @ Rs 48,000/- + HRA.
Essential Qualification: Candidates must possess 1st Class Master Degree from
recognized university in Life Sciences with 2 years experience.
OR
Second Class M.Sc + PhD degree in Life Sciences/ related field from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification and & Experience:
- Experience in Research Administration (3 years).
- Good Communication as well as writing skills.
- Knowledge of Computer Applications.xcellent communication skills.
Job Requirement: Candidate is required to coordinate with centres of “ICMRYoung Diabetes Registry (YDR) & YDR Cohort-Phase-III”, monitoring the work under this project as well as aid the program officer in the review of the data collected, monitoring field activities, training and preparation of reports and any other work assigned by programme officer.
