About the Project: The project requires an applicant with knowledge in Enzymology, Viruses and/or Molecular Biology. It provides learning on basic techniques of Molecular Biology, Cell culture and Protein Biochemistry. The applicant will be encouraged to perform independent research and publish.

Hostel accommodation will be provided to the student upon joining.Essential Qualification: Bachelor degree with 60% marks and Master’s degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life Science/ Protein Chemistry with minimal 60% marks from a recognized university with a minimum of 1 year of research experience. The applicant ought to have cleared GATE, CSIR DBT or ICMR JRF, M.Tech. or any other competitive examination that makes him qualified for the JRF position as defined in Office Memorandum of DST.
Desirable Qualification: that the candidate has hands-on experience on Protein Purification as well as characterisation.
Fellowship: Applicants with NET/GATE will certainly qualify as JRFs with a salary of Rs. 31,000 + HRA.
