Project Name: Neuro protective function in CD40 Mouse Hepatitis Virus induced Central Nervous System Infection.

Duration: Period of the post will initially be for one year but likely to be extendable for 2 even more years based on the performance of the candidate and availability of funds.

Desirable qualification: 1-2 years of prior research experience of working in a cell and molecular biology laboratory with training to work in animal cell culture and basic cell biology techniques such as protein/RNA extraction, western blotting, immunostaining and microscopy is needed. Prior experience in small animal handling is desirable. People with experiences in the field of virology/ neurovirology/ neuroimmunology or combination of all the 3 will certainly be given preference. Basic knowledge of utilizing computers for record-keeping and data analysis is required.

Salary: 20,000/- per month (consolidated).
