Name of Project: PIT 08004 MI: Study on epigenetic and autophagy modifiers on induction of haploid microspore embryogenesis in mulberry [CSGRC Hosur in collaboration with Seribiotech Research Laboratory, Kodathi, Bangalore]

Duration: 3 years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier.

Place of Work

: Central Sericultural Germplasm Resources Centre (CSGRC), Hosur and Seribiotech Research Laboratory (SBRL) Kodathi, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560035 based on requirement of the project.

Age limit: 28 years (Relaxation of 5 years in case of SC/ ST and women candidates)

Essential Qualification: Three year B.Sc. in Biological Sciences or Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture (PGDS) with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).

Desirable Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Botany / Applied Botany / Plant Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Genetics) candidates with experience in molecular
biology techniques.

Emoluments: 15,000/-p.m. (Consolidated)

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Botany / Applied Botany / Plant Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Genetics) with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST
candidates).

Desirable Qualification: Working experience in the area of plant tissue culture/ molecular biology techniques.

Emoluments: Rs.20000/- per month (candidates who have passed NET/GATE)+ HRA and Rs.15000/- per month (who have not passed NET/GATE) + HRA. HRA as admissible at CSGRC, CSB, Hosur.
