We require 2 Junior Research Fellows immediately for research on (1) Plant Diversity and Ecosystem Services, and also (2) Faunal Diversity (Butterflies, Birds, and also Mammals) to be carried out in Betul, Hoshangabad, Sagar, Sehore, and also Raisen Districts of Madhya Pradesh, which are located in the Satpura and also Vindhyan Plateau regions and also the Central Narmada Valley.

Duration & Brief About Project: The positions will be based at IISER Kolkata but will require extensive time on fieldwork in Madhya Pradesh, followed by landscape ecological analyses at IISER Kolkata. The project on Monitoring Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services for Ecosystem Enhancement under the Green India Mission will certainly be supervised by Dr Robert John Chandran and funded by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
