Eligible candidates may appear for walk-in interview for following positions in DBT and also ICAR funded research project. Positions are purely short-term in nature and also are co-terminus with the projects. The initial appointment will be for one year, which can be extended on the basis of the assessment of the applicant performance as well as need in the project (PI-Dr. Vandna Rai).

The interview will certainly be held on 14th July 2020 at 11.00 am in the Lecture Hall no. 1 1st Floor, NIPB, LBS Building, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012. The candidates should bring original certificates as well as four copies of Bio-data along with four copies of self -attested documents of all academic qualifications as well as experience with 4 passport size photographs. No TA/DA would be provided for the appearance in the interview. Just the applicants having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interviews.

Emoluments (each month): 54,000 plus 24 percent HRA
Essential Qualifications: PhD Degree/MD/MS/ MDS in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology or related subject or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and also development experience after MVSc/M. Pharm/ME/MTech. with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in bioinformatics analysis, genotyping as well as phenotyping for abiotic stresses in crop plants.
For Post II
Emoluments (each month): 31000 plus 24 percent HRA
Essential Qualifications:
Masters in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology or related field with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree Applicants having Post Grad Degree in Basic Science with 3 years Bachelor’s degree need to have NET qualifications as well as 2 years of research experience based on the OM No. Edn./ 6/27/2014/ HRD dated 13th July 2015, OMAgril Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD 9th October 2015 of the Council, as well as OM SR/S9/Z -09/ 2018 of DST, dated Jan 30th 2019.
Desirable Qualifications: Research experience working on Genomics molecular techniques as well as the wheat crop.
