Owing to the prevailing COVID-19 crisis, applicants may choose for interview either in person or via an on-line process. The qualified applicants (appearing in-person in addition to online mode) are asked to send their application in the enclosed proforma in addition to a scanned copy of the original documents the concerned PI’s e-mail address as given below latest by June 26, 2020.

How to Apply:
- Age limitation: Maximum age is 35 years for SRF (age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST & women and 3 years for OBC).
- The posts are simply short-term and will be filled on contractual basis at first up to 31st March 2021, extendable till the termination of the project based on satisfactory performance.
- The applicant will not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
- The interview of qualified candidates will be held according to schedule given above.
- The applicants will have to compulsorily bring the filled out application form (as per the format annexed), all the original certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certification, degree certificate either original or provisional and also one set of the self-attested xeroxes of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted onto the application. Proof of experience, as well as publications, also require to be submitted.
- Just the candidates having essential certifications would certainly be entertained for the online interview.
- Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form will result in disqualification or termination of such applicants.
- The candidates are required to send the application at the time of the interview based on the format annexed together with the declaration.
- The applicant intends to attend the interview if any of his/ her near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, need to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing so as to reach Head, Division of Genes, ICAR-IARI New Delhi by 26-06-2020. If on the date of interview such declaration is furnished as well as located that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed for interview.
- All the other applicants are likewise required compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly signed in the format.
