Online Interview for temporary Positions of “Senior Project Associate”, “Project Associates” & Laboratory
Assistants for COVID-19 testing Projects
The Director, CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun on behalf of the sponsors of the projects, is interested to engage “Senior Project Associate”, Project Associate-I” and “Laboratory Assistant” and for empanelment for future positions/requirements for various time-bound projects in different schemes. The eligibility criterion is as follows:
* Interview may continue on 21.04.2020 depending upon response of the candidates.
Mode of Selection: Selection is to be done on the basis of on-line Interview with Skype.
General Terms & Conditions:
- Engagement will certainly be originally for a period of 6 Months/One Year depending upon the project requirement, which may be prolonged or curtailed relying on the duration of the Project/desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent, as the case may be.
- The tenure of Project Staff shall be co-terminus with the project. Nevertheless, under no circumstances the tenure would be permitted to exceed 5 years duration. The performance of the Project Staff would be reviewed periodically to make sure that any type of one not found up to the mark, could be ended.
- All these positions are short-term and are on behalf of the sponsors and, therefore, will certainly not confer any right on the incumbent to any kind of claim, implicit or explicit on any type of post in CSIR-IIP/CSIR.
- On completion of the tenure in one project, in case, one wishes to apply for engagement in another project, he/she will have to go via the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would be made only after submission of resignation and “No Demand Certificate” in the previous project.
- Whereever possible accommodation will be provided to project staff, if accommodation is not possible, HRA will certainly be paid based on rules. If accommodation is provided, the licence fee would be deducted based on CSIR rules.
- The Project Staff will be permitted to avail leave and dispensary facility, as per rules.
- The Institute provides canteen facilities as is being provided for regular staff members on payment of suitable charges.
- Experience, where required, will be counted from acquiring minimal educational qualification.
- Final semester and results awaited candidates will certainly not be enabled to appear for Interview.
- TA/DA will not be paid for reporting to duty.
- The number of positions may differ depending upon the Project requirements.Eligible and Interested candidates are requested to send scan copy following documents through Email on [email protected] latest by 17.04.2020. (Friday) positively:
(i) Scan copy of duly filled-in application form, which is given at the end of this Advt.
(ii) Scan copies of orginal documents viz. (a) Educational Qualification, (b) Age, (c) Category (in case of SC/ST/OBC/ PWD candidates), (d) Experience certificate, if any kind of; (e) Publications/Patents, if any kind of and (e) detailed biodata etc. Applicants are additionally requested to provide their Skype ID, Mobile No.and Email address.
Keep in mind: The applicants shortlisted by the Screening Committee will certainly be welcomed for online-Interview via Skype on 20.04.2020 (Monday) from 9:00 AM onwards. Skype Interview may continue on 21.04.2020 (Tuesday) depending upon the response of the candidates.The panel of Project Staff may be prepared for future requirements if any type of, or for up-coming projects.Canvassing in any form will certainly be treated as a disqualification for the positions.

OR
MD/MS from a recognized university with experience in molecular biology techniques.
Desirable Qualification: A minimum of one year hands-on experience of handling of
RNA/DNA, Real-Time PCR, Handling of viral cultures/ Clinical specimen.

Stipend (per month): Rs. 20,000 p.m. + HRA (Increment of 15% for 3 years

How will one know if he/she has received an interview intimation? They did mention about the screening list qualified for the interview. But as such no list is available on the website.
