Genomics techniques such as Direct Sequencing, MassARRAY, MicroArray genotyping and functional genomics will be covered in this workshop.

A workshop on the advanced techniques in genomics will be held from February
5th to 7th, 2020 by Madras Diabetes Research Foundation, under the aegis of ICMR.
This workshop is aimed at training and capacity building of researchers in advanced
techniques in genomics of type 2 diabetes such as Direct sequencing, MassARRAY,
Microarray Genotyping and Functional genomics.
Eligibility:
Applications from students, researchers and Scientists in the field of Human Genetics, Genetic Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or any branch of Life Science are invited.
How to Apply:
Curriculum Vitae and one page write up on the research background and interests and
why this workshop could be helpful for the candidate’s research should be enclosed along with the application form.Candidates will be selected based on their C.V. and write up mentioning the current research background and how this workshop will be useful for their research.

Participants are requested to make their own travel, food and accommodation arrangements. Working lunch will be provided during the workshop. A list of places of accommodation nearby will be shared upon request.

Selected candidates would be intimated through email after which the Registration fee can be paid online/posted as DD.
