1.DBT Wellcome Biomedical Research Fellowships 2020 – Applications Invited

The Wellcome Trust/DBT India Alliance invites applications for the Senior and Intermediate Fellowship scheme. These Fellowships are available across the full spectrum of biomedical research under the remit of India Alliance, which is to support biomedical research that is relevant to human and animal welfare. Interdisciplinary projects are also welcome.

2. Matsumae International Foundation (MIF) 2021 Research Fellowship Program

Upon the concept of the founder of the Matsumae International Foundation (MIF), “Towards A Greater Understanding of Japan and a Lasting World Peace”, MIF has started the Research Fellowship Program in 1980.

3. CSIR Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology 2020

The SSB Prizes are awarded for notable as well as exceptional research, applied or
fundamental, in the following disciplines: 1) Biological Sciences 2) Chemical Sciences 3) Earth-Atmosphere-Ocean-Planetary Sciences 4) Engineering Sciences 5) Mathematical Sciences 6) Medical Sciences and also 7) Physical Sciences.

4. International Scholarship Programme 2020-21 Aga Khan Foundation

The Aga Khan Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships each year for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from select developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies, in order to develop effective scholars and leaders and to prepare them for employment, primarily within the AKDN.

The fellowship encourages research that fosters science-society interactions

8. QUT National Tree Genomics Program PhD Scholarships

The Centre for Tropical Crops and also Biocommodities (CTCB) is looking for PhD students to join the National Tree Genomics Program starting in early 2020. This program is intending to make certain future food security by developing elite horticultural tree cultivars.

10. Edinburgh Global Research Scholarship 2020-2021

Each scholarship will cover the difference between the tuition fee for a UK/EU postgraduate student and that chargeable to an overseas postgraduate student. The awards do not cover maintenance expenses.
