Admission to M.Tech and M.Tech-Ph.D Dual Degree Programmes, AY 2019-20
These Programs will admit eligible regular full-time Applicants with assistantships Also as Working professionals as part-time or external candidates. There’ll be provided for applicants from industry for accelerated degree option. For details, please consult with the institute web site for details.

A. Application Procedure:
Applicants are asked to
use the following link to fill and submit an application form online: http://oa.iitj.ac.in/OA_PG_ADMISSIONFor admission to the 2019-20 First Semester beginning in July 2019, this online link will remain active till 12 April 2019.
Applicants need to pay the processing fee of Rs.300 for General and OBC applicants and Rs.150 for SC, ST, and PD applicants online when submitting the application form.
In the event of any query with respect to the online application, applicants can contact Office of Academics ([email protected]) along with other general questions may be directed to the offices of the respective departments (See Section G of this letter).
Applicants shortlisted for the written test and/or interview will have to bring the final submitted application form duly signed together with a copy of a valid GATE score card at the time of written exam and/or interview.
All Qualified GATE Candidates, who have submitted an application for M.Tech. Admission also needs to register at Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) for making a decision against admission offers throughout the time windows to be announced on the COAP portal. For the candidate with no GATE (i.e B.Tech. From IITs) will be informed directly by the IIT Jodhpur.
B. The admission to M.Tech. Program is offered to foreign nationals under the Cultural Exchange Fellowship Programme of the Government of India, administered by Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi. Persons interested in those programs are needed to apply through the Indian High Commission/Embassy in their various nations.
Applicants from Defence Forces could be considered for admission to the external M.Tech. Programme. Eligibility criteria for applicants from Defence Forces is going to be just like that of the regular students with an exemption of GATE score. The program will be governed by the academic standards of this IITJ. The respective organization has to make sure and undertake the responsibility for giving adequate time and facilities to the officer during the Coursework and Thesis/Project work.
C. Eligibility for Admission:
The qualification standards described below will be the minimum. The relaxation for SC/ST candidates in the qualifying degree marks is according to MHRD rules. Kindly make a note that the eligibility for admissions to different Dual degree (MTech-PhD) programs is going to be exactly like regular M.Tech. Programs of the concerned Department.
D. Financial Assistance:
Full-time M.Tech. /Dual Degree students could be eligible for a monthly stipend in return for 8 hours of work per week of Teaching or Research Assistantships.
E. Reservation Policy
The standards of reservation for different categories shall be embraced as laid down by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
