Name of the Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Name of the Project: “A novel therapeutic approach to treat myeloid malignancies by manipulation of c-MPL splicing” (No.5/13/12/2018/NCD-III),
Duration: Three years
Monthly Fellowship: Rs 25,000 p.m. + HRA as permissible.
Tenure: The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Essential Qualification: Candidate must have M.Sc. degree in any branch of
Biological Science subjects with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates who have
qualified in the CSIR-NET/DBT-JRF/UGC-JRF/GATE will be preferred. Selected
candidates can enroll themselves for the PhD program of the institute. A good academic
record, inquisitiveness to do science, logical reasoning, hard-working, good team player
and skills in some of the laboratory technique such as cell culture/transfection,
PCR/qRT-PCR, Western blot, primer design, flow cytometry with a brief knowledge on
myeloid malignancy/hematopoiesis is desirable. Excellent communication skills in
written and spoken English are compulsory.
