Application are invited for Top value Jamia Hamdard – Silver Jamia Hamdard Fellowships to be awarded on competitive basis:
1. Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Post-doctoral Fellowships – 05
2. Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Research Fellowships -05
Fellowship Amount and Contingency:
Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Post -doctoral Fellowship
- Remuneration: Rs. 60,000 a month (no additional allowances)
- Contingency: Rs. 50,000 annually.
Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Research Fellowship
- Remuneration: Rs. 35,000 a month (no additional allowances)
- Contingency: Rs. 25,000 each year.
Tenure:
Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Post – doctoral Fellowship
- Two years (with provision of extension of one year)
Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Research Fellowship
- Three years (no supply of extension)
If any of those fellows leaves fellowship before conclusion of
one year whole Amount of fellowship and contingency will have to be reimbursed to the University.Qualification:
Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Post -doctoral Fellowship
- Candidates who have been awarded Ph.D. degree by a recognized University From the discipline applicable to research activities of Jamia Hamdard.
- Have got PG degree in the first division (60% marks or equivalent grade).
- Have published at least three research papers with first/co-first authorship in SCI/SSCI –indexed journal. The papers by the candidates from field Aside from social sciences, Islamic studies and humanities have to have been Published in the journals with impact factor over two. The Amount of Publications could be relaxed in case of publication in high impact factor Journals like Nature, Science, Cell, NEJM etc.
- Applicants that obtained the Ph.D. degree more than two years before the Final date of application won’t be considered.
Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Research Fellowship
- First branch (60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade) at Post-graduate level.
- Candidates must have qualified NET-JRF/LS or equivalent test after PG Eligibility or have qualified GATE, GPAT with 90 or above percentile.
