How To Get CSIR JRF / LS Certificate After Clearing the Exam? This question has been in minds of almost all aspirants who have qualified CSIR NET exam. Clear cut procedure to claim the CSIR JRF / LS Certificate After Clearing the Exam has not been mentioned anywhere. Hence most of the candidates remain in a dilemma on how to proceed with this.   1. Usually, when the result is declared, the detail procedure to obtain the qualifying certificate is mentioned at the end of the result page, made available on the official website of CSIR.
  2. You will be needed to send attested or self-attested photocopies of few documents to Section Officer of the Certificate Section in CSIR HRD Group as a proof of your educational qualifications and eligibility, to get the award letters.
  3. “The list of documents can be as follows” :

a. Class 10 Admit Card/Certificate – as a proof of age

b. Class 10 & 12 pass certificate/marks statement

c. UG and PG mark sheets & qualifying certificate/Provisional Degree Certificate.

d. For PG result awaiting category you may need to re-submit your declaration

e. Valid Caste certificate

f. Certificate of Physical disability (only in case of Physical Handicapped and Visually Handicapped)

g. CSIR NET admit card (keep the chalan copy as well)

h. Copy of CSIR marks statement.

i. ID Proof like Aadhar Card/PAN Card etc.

j. Recent photographs (same as the one submitted in the application form)

NOTE – The certificates, which are in the languages other than Hindi and English, may be translated in Hindi or English and attested by the issuing authority of the original certificate.

  1. You must mention the exam name with the year, on top of the envelope along with your roll number and slot allotted such as CSIR JRF/UGC JRF/LS.
  2. For are sending documents by post always go for either registered or speed post to ensure the arrival of your documents in time. Once your certificates are verified they will issue the award letter.
  3. The final certificates are usually sent via post to your home address.

NOTE – Candidates who qualify under UGC, are not required to send these documents to CSIR, their certificates are directly mailed to them.

  1. For the recent sessions since June 2017, as there is a pending case involving CSIR, the certificates are not released yet. As per the latest official notification, the marks statement issued by CSIR contains a declaration of it being a proof of qualification for Ph.D. admissions till the time the pending case is resolved.
  2. Remember, CSIR procedures get updated from time to time, and hence you need to keep a check on the rules and regulations mentioned in the CSIR official website.
