Applications are invited for three positions of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) in a research project entitled “Development of Heat Tolerant, High Yielding and Climate Resilient Wheat Cultivars by Utilizing Genomics, Molecular and Physiological Information and Resources” funded by USAID-DBT/BIRAC-ICAR.

Project Title : “Development of Heat Tolerant, High Yielding and Climate Resilient Wheat Cultivars by Utilizing Genomics, Molecular and Physiological Information and Resources”

Eligibility : The candidates should have M.Sc./M.Sc. (Ag.)/M.Phil degree in any area of Plant Sciences, (preferably Genetics and Plant Breeding), and should have qualified NET (candidate without 4 years BSc. (Ag.) degree and/or those, who did not qualify NET need not apply); those having a degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding and experience in the area of molecular markers and QTL analysis will be preferred.

Remuneration : Each fellow will get Rs. 25,000/- + HRA 5000/- (for first two years) and Rs. 28,000/- + HRA 5600/- (for remaining three years).

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
