Recruitment for contractual posts [Duration one year]: Candidates are invited to the walk in interview for the following positions on contractual basis under the project entitled “Comprehensive vector mapping in high endemic district of Odisha “and “Bionomics of malaria vectors and their sibling species, and establish their role in malaria transmission in Odisha, India” supported by ICMR on 18 th May 2017 at 10 AM for the post of Research Assistant and on 19 th May 2017 at 10AM for the post of Insect Collector at Regional Medical Research Center(ICMR), Chandrasekharpur ( Near Nalco Square) Bhubaneswar-751023 along with the original certificate for verification and have to submit a set of Xerox copy along with C.V./ Bio-data duly signed by the candidate at the time of verification. If candidates are more than 30, written test and viva voce will be conducted. The posts are co-terminable along with the closure of the project. There will be no liability of ICMR and RMRC for continuation of employment beyond termination of the project.

Essential qualification : Graduate in science/ relevant subjects
/ from a recognized university with three years work experience from a recognized institution or master’s degree in the relevant subject. (Biotechnology ,life Sciences, zoology and Microbiology).Desirable qualification : Experience in molecular and entomological work. Identification of mosquitoes and other entomological work.
Job requirement : To carry out identification of Mosquito species, Molecular work, Sequencing, etc. She/he should have basic knowledge in statistics and computer application. Person has to work both at laboratory and field.
Age : 30yr (In the case of experienced candidates age may be relaxed and age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rule)
Consolidated Salary : 31,000/-
