Project Title : Potentially novel carbohydrases (cellulase and related enzymes) for waste management from functional metagenomic library of North East India biodiversity hotspot.
PI : Dr. Indira P. Sarethy, Associate Professor, Biotechnology Department, JIIT, Noida.
Essential Qualifications : MSc/ M. Tech. in Life Sciences/Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology. Preference will be given to ICMR/ CSIR /UGC/ JRF/ NET qualified candidates. However, Non- NET qualified candidates can also apply.
Job Description : Metagenomics, cloning, enzyme characterization
Duration : The post is valid upto duration of the project (16th Jan. 2020). Continuation is subject to satisfactory performance.
Emoluments : For candidates with Post Graduate degree in Basic Science (with NET qualification) or graduate degree in Professional course (with NET qualification) or Post graduate degree in Professional course: Rs. 25000 + HRA for first Two years and Rs. 28,000 + HRA for the third year (SRF, subject to requisite conditions). For candidates without NET qualification: Rs. 12,000 + HRA per month for first two years and Rs. 14,000 + HRA for the third year (SRF, subject
