Applications are invited for the Junior Research Fellow and Lab Assistant position for the following DBT funded projects under the supervision of Dr. Anandh D., Associate Professor, School of Regenerative Medicine, Bangalore. Selected candidate(s) if found suitable could enrol for Ph.D. under Manipal University during this engagement.
Job Title : Junior Research Fellow (two positions)
Project title : Study to Evaluate the Homing Potential of Dental Pulp Stem Cells (DPSC) in in vitro and in vivo Model of Hippocampal Neurodegeneration
Funded by : DBT Govt. of India
Qualification : M. Sc. in Biotechnology / Life Sciences with exposure on stem cells
Duration : Initially Six month; performance based extension
Salary : Rs 25,000 + 30% HRA (per month) for Category–II DBTBET/NET qualified. For non-NET candidate Rs.16,000 consolidated (per month).
Desired criteria:
- Hands-on experience in mammalian cell and tissue culture, cell and molecular biology techniques
- Basic Knowledge on Neuroscience
- Poster presented in international / national conferences or peer-reviewed publication
