Educational Qualification :-
(i) (a) possess a post graduate degree in Forensic science or Biological Science
or Forensic Pharmacy or Forensic Nano technology or Botany or Zoology or
Bio-Chemistry or Micro Biology or Life Science or Bio Science or Bio
technology or Genetics obatained from any of the Universities established or
incorporeted by under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational
in
section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956. and
(A) have about three years’experience on the post not below the rank of Laboratory Technician, Class III in the subordinate service of the Director of Forensic Science of Gujarat state in Biology or Serology or DNA or Food Poison devisions of the Forensic Science Laboratory or
(B) have about three years’ experience of research or analytical work in the respective subject in the Government or Local bodies or Government under taking Board or Corporation or private or public sector Laboratary or Research Institute or Hospital or Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013 or University or College on the post not below tank of Laboratory Technician, Class III in the subordinate service of the Director of Forensic Science of Gujarat state, or
(ii) a bachelor’s degree in Bio Engineering or Forensics Science or Botany or Zoology or Bio-Chemistry or Micro Biology or Life Science or Bio Science or Bio technology or Genetics or Pharmacy as principal subject, obatained from any of the Universities established or incorporeted by under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956. and
(A) have about five years’ experience on the post not below the rank of Laboratory Technician, Class III in the subordinate service of the Director of Forensic Science of Gujarat state in Biology or Serology or DNA or Food Poison devisions of the Forensic Science Laboratory o
(B) have about five years’ experience of research or analytical work in the respective subject in the Government or Local bodies or Government under taking Board or Corporation or private or public sector Laboratary or Research Institute or Hospital or Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013 or University or College on the post not below tank of Laboratory Technician, Class III in the subordinate service of the Director of Forensic Science of Gujarat state,
(iii) The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Service Classificstion and Recruitment (General ) Rules,1967
(iv) adequate knowledge of Gujatati or Hindi OR both
PAY:– Rs. 9,300/–Rs. 34800/- ( Grade pay- Rs. 4,600/-)
AGE :-Not more than 40 years.Age will be calculated as on the last date of the receipt of application.

Note:
(1) Tentative date of Preliminary Test is 15-01-2017. The Provisional Result will be declared tentatively up to March, 2017. For Sylabus of Preliminary Test please refer Commission’s Web site www.gpsc.gujarat.gov.in
(2) If the Commission decides to conduct the Preliminary Test considering the number of post and application received, the marks obtained by the candidate in the Preliminary Test shall be considered for shortlisting the candidates to be called for interview and such marks shall be considered for final selection.
(4) The candidates should produce formula/method of calculation of percentage where percentage of marks is not given by the University.
(5) The candidates having qualification from foreign University. Should produce necessary documents /proof regarding the recognition/equivalence of their degree. Application fee: Candidates of General Category have to pay Rs.100/- as
Application fee. While candidates of Reserved Category of Gujarat State & candidates who is physically disable do not have to pay application fee. While candidates of Reserved Category of Other State have to pay application fee.
