Job Title : Senior Scientist -downstream Process Development

Eligiblity : M.sc / B.tech / M.tech Bio-Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology

Experience : 1 – 4 Years

Location : Bengaluru/Bangalore

Job description :

• Performs laboratory experiments related to development of robust downstream processes for manufacturing of human therapeutic proteins produced in recombinant eukaryote and prokaryote cells.
• Designs, executes, and analyses experiments at laboratory scale with the help of mathematical models.
• Develops and characterizes scaled-down models for downstream unit operations.
  Possesses knowledge of and experience with all types of chromatography, crystallization, centrifugation and filtration techniques.
• Possesses knowledge of and experience with protein analytical techniques such as HPLC, SDS-PAGE, UV/VIS/fluorescence spectroscopy, etc, and is familiar with scientific and biotechnology industry literature.
• Responsible for accurate laboratory data entry, lab maintenance and upkeep, and report writing.
• Supports identification and optimization of alternative laboratory methods and/or equipment to improve work efficiency and throughput.
