Bioinformatics Summer Internship 2024 With Hands-On-Training + Project / Dissertation - 30 Days, 3 Months & 6 Months Duration

The Centre for Stem Cell Research (CSCR), a unit of the Institute of Stem Cell Research and Regenerative Medicine (inStem), Bengaluru, has been established as a collaboration between inStem, the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and the Christian Medical College, Vellore. CSCR is supported by the Department of Biotechnology of the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.

CSCR aims to use stem cell science to better understand human diseases and develop novel cell based therapies for some of them through translational research including basic science, animal models for diseases and clinical trials. This will be done through interdisciplinary collaborations working in teams directed at specific themes of research directed at addressing unmet health care needs in the country. It also will provide training and education in stem cell research to help build human capacity in this field.

Applications are invited from candidates who are interested in doing short term projects at the Centre for Stem Cell Research (a unit of inStem, Bengaluru) a collaboration between DBT and CMC, Vellore.

Duration: Minimum 4 months

and maximum 6 months

Eligibility:

Candidates who are pursuing MSc in Life Science, Biotechnology, NanoTechnology, Materials Science or Bioengineering or are pursuing B.Tech, M.Tech, MBBS.

Please note:

The short term projects are for students who are pursuing their degree. Students who are about to complete or completed their degree will not be consider for this training program.

Candidates who are selected for this course will be informed by the 30th of September (Session 1) or April (Session 2), respectively.
