MIT School of Bioengineering Sciences and Research located at MIT Art, Design and Technology University, Loni Kalbhor, Pune is offering two degree programs B.Tech (4 years) and integrated M.Tech (5 years) for 10+2 students to cater to the growing demand of the Bioengineering field.
The degree programs are open for students with either/or biology and mathematics background. All the courses have been designed in consultation with industries in various segments such as pharma, medical biotechnology, IT sector, biomedical devices companies, speciality hospitals etc. The project based learning (PBL) pedagogy method will be employed to impart education.
Admissions for only the graduate courses (BTech & integrated MTech) began in June 2016

Admission Process
For Under-graduate program:
- MH-CET is compulsory for within MH students. JEE is compulsory for outside MH students.
- Student need to download the application form from university website, filled it and send it with required application fee (by demand draft only) to the university.
- University will publish the list of selected candidates on the website as well as communicate to the selected students via email & post.
For Post-graduate program:
- Since this is an integrated post-graduate program, same procedure as under-graduate program will be followed.

Eligibility Criteria
• Admission will be on merit based on MHCET score basis wherein preference will be given to students with Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology as core major subjects.
• Students outside Maharashtra will be considered based on score in JEE conducted by Central Board
• Students without either Maths/Biology at the 10+2 level will be encouraged to undertake a remedial course (3 credits) for the same during the first semester of the B .Tech degree program.
• Candidate should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject AND Secured minimum 50 % marks in the subjects.
