The Krishi Vigyan Kendra Dahigaon ne is a district level Farm Science Center established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi established at Shri Marutrao Ghule Patil Shikshan Sanstha at Dahigaon, Tal- Shevgaon Dist- Ahmednagar for speedy transfer of technology to the farmers’ fields. The operational area of this Krishi Vigyan Kendra comes under the western Maharashtra dry Zone. Seven Talukas of Ahmednagar District i.e Ahmednagar, Pathardi, Shevgaon, Newasa, Karjat, Jamkhed, Shrigonda comes under KVK Dahigaon ne Juridiction. The aim of Krishi Vigyan Kendra is to reduce the time lag between generation of technology at the research institutions and it’s transfer to the farmer’s field for increasing production, productivity and income from the agriculture and allied sectors on a sustained basis.

Qualification : Doctoral degree in Agriculture with 8 years experience as a Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade pay Rs. 5400/Rs. 6000/ Rs. 8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidence by published work / innovations & impact.
OR Doctoral degree in Agricultural engineering in relevant subject with 6 yrs
OR Masters degree in Agriculture engineering in the relevant subject with 10 yrs experience as a Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade pay o Rs. 5400/Rs. 6000/Rs. 8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidence by published work / innovations & impact.
Skills : Specialization in implementing extension education programme.
Pay scale : Rs. 37400–67000 With RGP of 9000
