Job Description
This Research Job involves coordinating and overseeing activities under an ICMR-funded implementation research project in emergency care systems. The selected candidate will manage communications with State and District officials and ICMR, coordinate formative research and outcome assessments, and support implementation activities. Responsibilities include literature search and synthesis, data management, data analysis, and report writing. The role also requires supervising project staff and contributing to field-based research activities in urban and rural health facilities in the district of Pondicherry.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the research and handle communications with State and District officials and ICMR.
- Coordinate formative research, outcome assessment, and implementation of the project.
- Train, guide, and supervise Project Staff.
- Conduct a literature search and synthesis.
- Manage and analyse research data.
- Prepare reports and documentation.
- Undertake field-based data collection.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Master of Public Health / Psychology / Social Work / Sociology / Nursing / Life Sciences / Rural Development or related areas; Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG Degrees with PhD.
- Experience: Research experience (one year) in field of emergency care or Qualitative research; experience in relevant field will be given priority. Experience working in State-level projects/programs and undertaking health-related field-based data collection.
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years (as on the last date of receipt of applications).
- Language: Good communication skills in Tamil & English.
