About the Institute
The National Tobacco Testing Laboratory (NTTL) functions under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The laboratory is responsible for scientific testing and analysis of tobacco products and supports national regulatory and public health initiatives. NTTL conducts analytical investigations, quality assessments, and protocol development for tobacco product testing. Through this CDSCO Recruitment, the laboratory aims to strengthen its scientific workforce with qualified professionals from Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and related disciplines.
Job Description
To carry out scientific work on instrumental analysis and tobacco protocol development.
Qualification
- Essential: M.Sc. Biochemistry / Biotechnology
- Desirable: Five years post-degree research experience in handling analytical equipment / synthetic reagents, and experience in testing tobacco products at any nationalized tobacco testing laboratory.
Max. Age Limit (Years): 45 (Persons having experience at any NTTLs are eligible for age relaxation.)
Consolidated Emoluments Monthly: 58,000/- INR
