About the Project
Applications are invited for the position of Project Research Scientist-I under the ICMR-funded research project titled:
“Engineering Signalling Domain to Improve Therapeutic Potential of Indigenously Developed Humanized Anti-CD19 CAR T-Cells”
The project aims to advance CAR T-cell therapy through innovative engineering approaches to enhance its therapeutic efficacy. The selected candidates will work within a multidisciplinary research environment at the Stem Cell Research Center, Department of Hematology, SGPGIMS, Lucknow.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification
First Class Postgraduate Degree, including integrated postgraduate degrees,
OR
Second Class Postgraduate Degree, including integrated postgraduate degrees, with a Ph.D. in:
- Life Sciences
- Biotechnology
- Biochemistry
- Molecular Biology
- Related disciplines
Preferred Experience
Candidates with prior research experience in any of the following areas will be given preference:
- CAR T-cell therapy
- Phage display technology
- Hybridoma technology
- Molecular modeling and simulation
- Primary immune cell culture
- Development of leukemia mouse models using immunocompromised mice
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research related to CAR T-cell engineering and therapeutic development.
- Perform molecular biology, cell culture, and immunology-based experiments.
- Analyze experimental data and maintain research documentation.
- Assist in project reporting, scientific publications, and presentations.
- Collaborate with project investigators and research team members to achieve project objectives.
Appointment Details
Initial appointment will be for one year.
Extension may be granted based on satisfactory performance and project requirements.
The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
