Key Responsibilities
- Work on the project titled “Deciphering Inositol polyphosphate roles as crosstalk modulators of (a)biotic stress adaptation and biotechnological application of underlying signaling routes to improve defense response and nutritional uptake in plants”.
- Conduct advanced molecular biology experiments.
- Perform DNA and RNA isolation.
- Carry out protein purification from plant and bacterial samples.
- Perform routine PCRs and cloning experiments.
- Conduct in vitro and in vivo protein-protein interaction assays.
- Contribute to research related to plant stress adaptation, defense response, and nutritional uptake mechanisms.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- PhD in Life Sciences.
- PhD in Plant Biology.
- PhD in Plant-Pathogen Interactions.
- PhD in Biochemistry.
- PhD in Biotechnology.
Desirable Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience in proteomics.
- Experience related to plant-pathogen interactions.
Experience
Candidates should possess hands-on experience in:
- DNA isolation.
- RNA isolation.
- Protein purification.
- Routine PCR techniques.
- Molecular cloning.
- Protein purification from plant and bacterial samples.

Tenure of the Position
