Key Responsibilities
- Research & Product Development
- Carry out experiments as per the direction of the research manager by following the Product Innovation Process (PIP) of Kemin.
- Develop and validate new protocols for laboratory research.
- Carry out a literature search and identify appropriate methods for conducting research.
- Product & Process Development for the Animal Nutrition Industry by following the Product Innovation Process (PIP) of the company.
- Gain knowledge about animal nutrition and health, and submit ideas for new product development.
- Scientific Writing & Publications
- Contribute to writing research reports and presentations.
- Assist in writing technical articles based on the research findings on a timely basis for internal and external publications.
- Publication of scientific and technical articles in the Kemin database and scientific journals.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Collaboration with researchers in academic institutions and close interaction with customers will be part of the work occasionally.
- Laboratory Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all research activities in laboratory notebooks and other forms as required.
- Conduct all research activities with strict adherence to the health and safety policies of the company.
- Carry out research activities with high scientific and personal integrity and by following good scientific and laboratory practices.
- Protect all confidential information, such as formulations, trade secrets, and other commercially sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Science with specialization in Microbiology or Biotechnology.
- Minimum 1 year of research experience.
- Strong understanding of laboratory research methodologies.
- Knowledge of scientific documentation and reporting practices.
Experience Required
- At least 1 year of research experience in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related Life Science disciplines.
- Experience in conducting laboratory experiments and research activities.
- Experience in literature review and scientific data interpretation will be advantageous.
