Key Responsibilities
- Develop cell-based assays and ELISA methods.
- Work on flow cytometry-based assays (preferred).
- Design experiments with minimal supervision.
- Develop functional bioassays to evaluate different mechanisms of action.
- Analyze data using software such as PLA (equivalence testing), GraphPad Prism, and Minitab.
- Develop ELISAs and other characterization bioassays for biosimilars.
- Apply novel technical concepts in assay development.
- Understand assay kinetics, receptor biology, and monoclonal antibody (MAbs) mechanisms.
- Perform bioassay method qualification, validation, and transfer to Quality Control.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain proper documentation.
- Write protocols and reports.
- Participate in scientific discussions and collaborative research activities.
- Follow ICH and other regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Master’s in Biochemistry.
- Post-Graduation in Biotechnology.
- Post-Graduation in Biology.
Experience Required
- 3–9 years of bioassay experience.
- Relevant biosimilar experience from reputed biosimilar companies.
- Experience in the development of cell-based assays and ELISA.
- Experience working on flow cytometry-based assays (preferred).
- Experience in the development of functional bioassays.
- Experience with bioassay method qualification, validation, and technology transfer activities.
