Job Overview
Lonza is seeking a highly motivated Supplier Quality Professional to strengthen supplier quality processes across its global network. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance, maintaining supplier quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supplier quality processes, including vendor change notifications (VCNs), supplier quality agreements (QAAs), and supplier complaints.
- Review and approve supply chain records governing materials, services, and equipment across the global network.
- Assess supplier-related requests using analytical and risk-based decision-making to ensure compliance and quality continuity.
- Coordinate cross-functional impact assessments with stakeholders, including MSAT, QC, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Planning teams.
- Maintain accurate and compliant supplier documentation and ensure alignment across quality systems and tools such as SAP and VSCI.
- Monitor KPIs related to supplier quality processes while identifying risks, delays, and improvement opportunities.
- Act as a key point of contact for global supplier quality processes, supporting audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant scientific field such as Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology, or Biotechnology.
- Equivalent industry experience may also be considered.
- Business fluency in English.
Experience Required
- Experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Prior exposure to quality assurance, quality control, supplier quality, or supply chain environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of supplier management and compliance-related activities.
Skills Needed
- Strong understanding of cGMP requirements and regulatory expectations.
- Knowledge of quality management systems.
