Essential Qualification
- Candidates must possess: M.Sc. in Microbiology
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
- Preference may be given to candidates having hands-on experience in:
- LC-MS/MS
- Metagenomics
- Tissue Culture

- Maximum Age: 28 Years
- Age will be calculated as on 05 June 2026
- Age relaxation for eligible categories will be applicable as per Government rules.
Nature of Appointment
The position is:
- Purely temporary in nature.
- Initially offered for a period of one year.
- Extendable based on satisfactory performance.
- Subject to continuation of the project.
- Co-terminus with the project.
Important Conditions
- The position does not lead to any PhD degree at NISER.
- The appointment will not confer any right, claim, implicit or explicit, for absorption or regular appointment against any post in NISER.
