The Food and Nutritional Biotechnology Division at BRIC-NABI invites applications for the following temporary research positions:
1. Project Associate-I

| Duration | 11 months or until completion of the project. Duration may be curtailed depending on funds received from the sponsoring agency. |
| Essential Qualification | (As per DST OM: SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated August 21, 2019)
Master’s degree from a recognized University/Institute in: |
| Desirable Experience | • Experience in speed breeding facilities or similar environments • Knowledge of agriculture, crop genetics, and breeding, especially cotton and maize • Experience in field phenotyping experiments • Experience in molecular biology techniques such as: – DNA/RNA isolation – PCR – qRT-PCR – Hormone estimation – Bioinformatics |
| Emoluments | ₹31,000 + 20% HRA Total: ₹37,200 per month |

Application Procedure & Important Instructions for Research Jobs
- Interested candidates may appear for a Walk-In Interview at BRIC-NABI, Knowledge City, Sector-81, Mohali, Punjab – 140306 on 25.05.2026 at 09:00 A.M. along with the duly filled application form available on the official website.
- Applications must be submitted strictly in the prescribed format available on the official website. CVs or expressions of interest sent through email or phone will not be accepted.
- Candidates applying for more than one post may indicate their preferences in the same application form. Separate application forms are not required.
- Candidates must ensure that all information provided in the application form is accurate. No requests for modifications after submission will be entertained.
- The duly filled application form must be submitted during registration between 09:00 A.M. and 10:00 A.M. on 25.05.2026.
- Candidates should confirm their eligibility before applying, as ineligible candidates will not be interviewed.

- In special circumstances, candidates may request an online interview through email to the Project Investigator. Requests should preferably be made at least one week before the interview date. Final approval will be decided by the selection committee.
- The institute reserves the right to conduct interviews in online or offline mode.
- Interview results will be published on the NABI website.
- The last date for submission of online applications is 22.05.2026. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
- Permission for online interviews may be sought from the PI at least one week before the interview date with a valid reason.
