“Utilizing chickpea PGIP engineering to bypass effector recognition for enhancing resistance against Botrytis cinerea”
The project will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. Vivek Verma at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU).
Position Details

| Essential Qualification | M.Sc./M.Tech./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or allied disciplines with minimum 55% marks |
| Additional Eligibility | Candidates who have completed their Master’s degree and are awaiting results may also apply |
| Desirable Qualification | CSIR-UGC NET / DBT-JRF / ICMR-JRF / GATE or equivalent national-level qualification |
| Preferred Experience | Experience in molecular biology techniques such as cloning, protein expression & purification, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, and plant handling |
| Additional Skills | Proficiency in scientific writing |
| Monthly Fellowship | ₹37,000/- + ₹8,800/- (24% HRA) per month for NET/GATE/national-level exam qualified candidates |
| Project Duration | Initially 1 year, extendable annually based on satisfactory performance and project provisions |
| Maximum Tenure | Up to 3 years or project duration |
| Nature of Appointment | Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project |
