Job Description: QA/QC Trainee

Role Overview
We are seeking a QA/QC Trainee to support both quality assurance and quality control functions in a diagnostics manufacturing environment. In addition, candidates applying for QC Freshers Job will gain hands-on exposure to laboratory testing, documentation practices, and quality systems for products such as rapid diagnostic tests, ELISA kits, and urine test strips.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control (Laboratory Activities)
- Assist in in-process and final QC testing of RDTs, ELISA kits, and urine test strips
- Perform ELISA testing, including sample preparation, plate handling, and OD readings
- Conduct visual inspection of test devices for line clarity, background, and defects
- Support urine strip testing using standard reference controls
- Record observations and maintain QC test reports
Quality Assurance (Documentation & Compliance)
- Follow and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assist in the preparation and review of BMRs, BTRs, and quality records
- Support document control activities (issuance, tracking, and archival)
- Assist in deviation reporting, CAPA, and change control documentation
- Participate in internal audits and GMP compliance activities; these tasks directly relate to QC Freshers Job responsibilities.
Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
- Assist in the inspection of raw materials as per specifications and CoA
- Support labeling, quarantine, and release of materials
- Maintain IQC logs and records, which also supports QC Freshers Job candidates in learning practical skills.
General Support Activities
- Prepare reagents, buffers, and working solutions
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of lab equipment
- Support stability studies and sample management

Qualifications
Education:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related field
Skills:
- Basic understanding of ELISA, rapid tests, and laboratory techniques
- Knowledge of GLP, GMP, and quality systems (theoretically acceptable), as expected for QC Freshers Job applicants.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Good analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
- Willingness to learn and work in a regulated environment
