Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Ph.D programs must possess:
- A Master’s degree in Biological Sciences such as:
- Biochemistry
- Biotechnology
- Life Sciences
- Zoology
- Microbiology
- OR
- A professional degree such as:
- MBBS
- Master’s degree in Medical or Dental Sciences
- M.Tech
- M.Pharma
- M.V.Sc
Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade as per UGC rules.
Important Admission Information
- Candidates qualified in CSIR/UGC-NET JRF, DBT-JRF, or ICMR-JRF are eligible for direct interview
- GATE/NET/GPAT qualified candidates (with or without JRF fellowship) are exempted from the written examination and may directly appear for the interview
