Overview
The Senior Consultant – Business Consulting (Safety) role is focused on driving technology-led and AI-enabled transformation across the Pharmacovigilance (PV) lifecycle. The position combines deep PV domain expertise with consulting capabilities to support global life sciences clients in enhancing compliance, operational efficiency, and patient safety outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Pharmacovigilance activities involving spontaneous and solicited adverse event reports, case processing, and regulatory submissions.
- Support causality assessments, benefit-risk evaluations, and GxP quality and compliance activities, including GDP, GMP, CAPA, and deviation management.
- Drive AI and automation initiatives across PV operations, including:
- Intelligent case intake and triage
- NLP-based narrative processing
- Signal detection support
- Automated quality control and compliance checks
- Partner with clients on program and project management initiatives related to Pharmacovigilance transformation.
- Contribute to data strategy and business consulting engagements for life sciences organizations.
- Identify functional gaps within existing PV systems and recommend AI-based accelerators and automation use cases to improve operational effectiveness.
- Translate AI and analytics capabilities into measurable compliance improvements and operational efficiencies.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong expertise in Pharmacovigilance processes and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in consulting and client-facing engagements within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
- Hands-on experience with safety and clinical platforms such as:
- Oracle Argus Safety
- ArisGlobal LifeSphere
- Medidata Rave
- Veeva Vault Safety
- Ability to identify automation opportunities and AI-driven enhancements within PV systems.
- Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as:

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
