Applications are invited for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in the DBT Project file no. BT/PR31156/MED/30/2019, entitled “Structural and functional characterization of human CHST11 and CHST13 sulfotransferases involved in the regulation of Metastasis and Chemosensitivity of human Hepatocellular Carcinoma” in the Department of Life Sciences, School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar Institute of Eminence (SNIoE), Deemed to be University, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the DBT-funded research project on structural and functional characterization of human CHST11 and CHST13 sulfotransferases.
- Participate in research related to metastasis and chemosensitivity of human Hepatocellular Carcinoma.
- Perform cloning, protein expression, and purification experiments.
- Work with bacterial and mammalian systems for research activities.
- Assist the Principal Investigator in ongoing laboratory and project-related tasks.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Life Sciences with CSIR/NET/DBT/INSPIRE/GATE or equivalent exam cleared.
- Minimum 60% marks in a Master’s or equivalent degree.
- Candidates with 2 or more years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree may be selected as SRF.
Experience
- Prior experience with cloning, protein expression, and purification from bacterial and mammalian systems is required.
- Relevant research experience in molecular biology or related Life Sciences fields will be preferred.

Salary Details
