- Position Title: Project Fellow
- No of posts: 01 (one)
- Project Title: A Multimodal Predictive Model for Early Detection of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy: Biochemical, Neuroimaging and Machine-Learning Correlates
- PI: Dr. Bodepudi Narasimha Rao, Additional Professor, AIIMS Bhubaneswar
- Maximum Age Limit: 30 years as on the date of the interview
Qualification
- Essential: M.Sc in Neurosciences/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/ Biomedical Sciences/ Allied Sciences with at least 55% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
- Desirable Qualifications: Valid Gate Score/NET-JRF
- Key Skills: Ability to collect blood under supervision, perform western blot, ELISA, RT-PCR etc. and ability to communicate in English, Hindi, and Odiya.

Data collection from patients and perform western blot, ELISA, and RT-PCR
Emoluments
Consolidated monthly fellowship of ₹30,000/- as per S&T Dept, Govt. of Odisha
Tenure
Initial period of 6 months and extendable up to 3 years, subject to the candidate’s performance of the assigned project-related works

Instructions
- Late, incomplete, or incorrectly formatted applications will not be accepted. The position is purely temporary on a contract basis, and the stipend will follow approved guidelines.
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per government rules, and the cut-off date for age will be the date of the interview. Candidates must submit separate applications for each post, and selection will be decided by the committee.
- Applicants must have relevant qualifications and post-qualification experience from a recognized institution. Simply meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection. Candidates already in regular government service are not eligible.
- Providing false information at any stage will lead to disqualification. Contract appointments do not guarantee permanent employment or benefits like PF, pension, LTC, or medical claims.
- The initial contract duration depends on the project, and continuation is based on performance and project requirements. Selected candidates must produce original documents and self-attested copies at joining; failure to do so will lead to cancellation of selection.
- The contract can be terminated with one month’s notice from either side. Leave will be as per institutional policies.
- The institute reserves the right to accept/reject applications or modify/cancel the recruitment process, and the Director’s decision will be final. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification, and all updates will be published only on the official website.
