Role Overview
BRIC–Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the position of Junior Research Fellow under a DBT-funded research project led by Dr. Mahendran K. R. The selected candidate will contribute to advanced research in membrane biology and related biophysical studies.
Essential Qualifications
- First Class Postgraduate degree in any branch of Life Sciences
- Qualified in national-level examinations such as CSIR-UGC NET, DBT-BET, or GATE
- Familiarity with research methodologies and practices
- Knowledge and/or experience in areas such as membrane biology and membrane biophysics
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 28 years (as on May 11, 2026)
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms
Emoluments
- ₹37,000/- per month + 18% HRA
Duration
- Initially for one year or until the completion of the project (whichever is earlier)
- Extendable based on performance evaluation
Selection Process
