Advertisement for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 04
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF-04) to work on the Department of Biotechnology (Government of India) funded research projects:
- Bioengineering of enzymes for producing linear and branch lacto-N-triose for baby infant formula: highly promising human milk oligosaccharides.
- Establishment of a novel enzymatic process for augmenting bioactive oligosaccharide production from cereal-based arabinoxylan and β-glucan, targeting Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium surface receptors to enhance their rate of repopulation addressing obesity.
These positions will be based at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU). The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project duration.

| Minimum Qualifications | • M.Sc. in any branch of Biological Sciences from a reputed university • NET/GATE qualified • Candidates with DBT Category-I and II are eligible as per funding agency rules |
| Desirable Qualifications | Candidates having prior experience in: • PCR • Enzymatic cloning and characterization • Carbohydrate analysis |
| Age Limit | Up to 28 years on the closing date of advertisement |
| Fellowship Duration | Initial appointment for 1 year Extendable till project completion based on satisfactory performance |
