- Location: NIFTEM, Kundli
- Project Title: Fortification Innovation Hub
- Duration: 06 Months or coterminous with the project, whichever is earlier
- Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 80,000/- + 10% HRA
Essential Qualification
PhD in Food Science and Nutrition, Community Nutrition and Public Health, Developments Studies, Food Science and Technology or relevant field.
Desirable
Preferably 3-5 years of experience in program management in a similar kind of project/Industry or consultancy. Experience of working with the government / engaging with government departments/ Private Organizations required. Candidate with knowledge of food fortification process is preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide scientific, technical, and strategic inputs and provide managerial oversight and monitoring of the project.
- Development of annual work plans, progress reports, and other required deliverables.
- Coordinate with collaborating institutes associated with the project.
- Liaison with the aligned government departments and support the integration of project activities and deliverables into government mechanisms.
- Represent the project activities and deliverables to the donor, central and state officials, partners, civil society, and private sector stakeholders.
- Collect and report data to measure the project performance and share with IHRF Hub at IIT-Delhi.
- Organize training of stakeholders like rice millers, FRK manufacturers, premix manufacturers, and labs (in coordination with other collaborating institutes).
- Plan, organize and conduct seminars, conferences, and workshops.
- Lead and disseminate the project findings to stakeholders from time to time.
- Continually support in Digital QA/QC and make recommendations to management on the continual improvement of the product/programs.
- Develop knowledge products on key outputs from the project.
