Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze regional and country-specific regulatory intelligence from internal experts and external sources.
- Work with Country SMEs to understand and document local regulatory requirements and landscapes.
- Monitor evolving global regulations, guidelines, policies, and directives across major health authorities.
- Support preparation of regulatory strategy documents, briefing materials, and compliance plans.
- Track submission timelines and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Monitor competitor regulatory strategies, approvals, and industry trends in key therapeutic areas.
- Identify regulatory precedents and provide benchmarking and gap-analysis insights to support decision-making.
- Conduct daily tracking of updates from agencies such as FDA, EMA, PMDA, and NMPA.
- Maintain and update internal regulatory intelligence databases and repositories.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and submitting Module 1 regulatory filing components for global markets.
- Coordinate with internal regulatory teams to ensure compliance with country-specific submission requirements.
- Support regulatory strategies for approved and pipeline products covering non-clinical and clinical aspects.
- Assist in evaluating regulatory requirements related to non-clinical and clinical study designs.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in life sciences or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience, preferably in regulatory affairs, regulatory intelligence, or competitive intelligence.
Skills
- Strong understanding of global regulatory landscapes, health authority guidelines, and approval pathways.
- Experience in Module 1 preparation and non-clinical/clinical regulatory strategy support.
- Ability to analyze and interpret regulatory trends, policy changes, and competitive strategies.
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills to effectively summarize and present regulatory insights.
