Candidates should have passed B.Sc. (Hons.), B.Sc. General, or B. Tech in any branch of Life Sciences, such as Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Industrial Biotechnology, Industrial Microbiology, Bioengineering, Food Technology, etc., or an equivalent undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, or Biology under the 10+2+3 pattern, securing a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST).
