Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Scientific Officer, you are the guardian of test accuracy and Turnaround Time (TAT).

Core Laboratory Operations

  • Advanced Testing: Perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests across biochemistry, hematology, and microbiology workflows as per established SOPs.
  • Automation Management: Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated automated analyzers to ensure zero downtime and maximum precision.
  • Validation: Process samples and validate results, ensuring every data point is accurate before it reaches the patient.

Quality, Compliance & Reporting

  • NABL/ISO Standards: Maintain strict adherence to NABL/ISO 15189 guidelines and lab safety protocols.
  • QC Documentation: Perform daily Quality Control checks, document any deviations, and participate in External Quality Assurance Scheme (EQAS) activities.
  • Digital Reporting: Utilize LIS (Laboratory Information Systems) for accurate data entry and result reporting, ensuring all logs and quality files are audit-ready.

Qualification & Experience

Redcliffe Labs is looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical mindset.

  • Education: M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Life Sciences.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of laboratory experience, specifically in a diagnostic setting.
  • Key Skills:
    • Sound knowledge of biochemistry or molecular workflows.
    • Proficiency in handling automated analyzers.
    • Familiarity with NABL accreditation requirements.
    • Strong documentation skills using MS Office and LIS tools.
