Qualification: Education

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Biotechnology, or equivalent.
Experience
• 1 to 5 years’ experience in microbiology testing within beverage/food/FMCG manufacturing or an accredited microbiology lab.

Salary: ₹3.3 LPA – ₹4.2 LPA

Roles & Responsibilities :

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process samples and finished goods (e.g., TPC/TVAC, Yeast & Mould, Coliforms/E. coli, Enterobacteriaceae, APC for water, etc.).
• Collect, label and handle samples according to defined sampling plans and chain-of-custody procedures.
• Operate and maintain microbiology lab equipment (incubators, autoclaves, colony counters, microscopes, pH meters) and ensure calibration/maintenance records.
• Prepare culture media, reagents, stains and maintain media preparation logs.
• Record, analyze and report test results in LIMS/Excel; raise OOS/OOT and initiate investigations with root-cause analysis and CAPA follow-up.
• Monitor plant hygiene: swab testing (environmental monitoring), CIP verification, personnel hygiene checks and follow up corrective actions.
